Ladybug Decorations - Not Just For Little Girls

When you think about little boys playing outdoors on a spring day-picking up bugs and trying to catch butterflies, it is a moment of precious childhood that you never forget. Consider bringing the outdoors in by decorating your son's room with bumblebees, butterflies, and ladybug decorations so your little one can let his imagination soar.

Mini ladybug decorations are adorable little creatures, covered in nylon with a wire frame, that are soft and bendable. You can put all the mini bugs on the wall or scatter them throughout the room. They can be put on a doorknob with a loop or dangled from the ceiling with a piece of fishing line. They can be mixed and matched with other little bugs to convert a little boy's room into an (indoor) outdoor wonderland.

Hanging ladybug room decorations are larger than the mini bugs, but they are also soft and bendable with hand-painted black dots and glitter on the wings for a special touch. Your little one will welcome the smiling ladybugs into his collection. Put them on the wall or hang them from the ceiling.

One great decorating idea is to create a 3D outdoor wall mural. Start with a bright blue sky background adding clouds, green grass, a bright smiling sun, and even a pond. You can add a huge 3D tree, and don't forget the little bugs that all boys love, as well as frogs, reptiles, and birds. How about including a picture of your little one sitting on a tree swing? This idea can be as exciting as you make it. Ask your little man to help with the painting. Adding his special touch will make it a fun time to spend together and he will be excited and proud of his accomplishment.

Another great addition is to add stuffed birds, frogs, and other soft and fuzzy animals. Stuffed animal shaped chairs make a cozy little area for your young man's personal space.

No room would be complete without coordinated bedding. Bright, cheerful colors with matching throw rugs and curtains can transform any room without much effort. Big fluffy comforters with matching curtains are a must to complete any boy's room. Ladybug curtain tiebacks add pizzazz to an already amazing room. This little accessory can even make a plain set of curtains fun and exciting.

Consider adding different animal wall stickers, hanging bugs, or bend the ladybugs so they can sit on a shelf or a nightstand. You can affix them to the headboard or sit them on the dresser. Let your imagination go to work as you create the perfect space for your special little boy.
