I was driving home the other day and noticed that there was a house in our neighborhood that was up for sale. And on the top of the house, I saw a DIRECTV dish. Now I'm no real estate agent but around here, having a DIRECTV dish already installed is a great selling point. We live in a semi-rural area that doesn't have the best cable service so a lot of people in my town go with DIRECTV vs Dish Network because of the DIRECTV deals, the channel lineup, and the great packages they offer, just like having a NFL Sunday Ticket Now we also happen to live in a state with a lot of major football fans, both college and NFL. So the DIRECTV NFL Sunday Ticket is the perfect package for the sports fans in this area. My husband is a huge sports fan. He practically lives in front of the television once the season starts. So having access to as many games as possible was crucial. DIRECTV NFL Sunday Ticket features 14 games each week. That's over 200 games during the NFL season! Since his favorite teams are mostly down South but we live in the Midwest, that means he doesn't have to miss any of his favorite games with DIRECTV. So when we first moved here, we compared DIRECTV vs Dish Network and they have, by far, better sports packages. Its not just the sports packages that we considered when we were comparing DIRECTV vs Dish Network. We have kids in our family ranging from age 5 to age 17. So we wanted to make sure we would be able to get educational programs and the cartoon channels. With DIRECTV the kids can choose from Disney, Nickelodeon, Discovery Kids, and Noggin. The teenagers wanted MTV and Comedy Central and our Direct TV Deal has them both. And I'm a big film buff so I had to have my movie channels too, like Turner Classic Movies, HBO, Starz, and even the Sundance Channel and Independent Film Channel so I can enjoy movies that don't always make it to our local theater. My husband and I both like watching documentaries and DIRECTV offers Discovery, History International, The Biography Channel and more. Another thing we liked about DIRECTV is the Digital Video Recording which allows use to record the shows we don't want to miss by saving them on the receiver for later viewing. With our family being on the go all the time, we can't always catch our favorite shows but with DVR we can save up to 200 hours of programming. Then when we watch our recorded shows, we can pause it, rewind it, and even fast forward through commercials. They also have DVR Scheduler so we can even schedule a recording from any computer or mobile phone. With the DVR scheduler, all we have to do is access the TV listing guide, browse the titles to find the show we want, click "record to receiver" and its all set! Thanks to the great DIRECT TV deals, we can get all the channels we need at a price we can afford. And with great features like Digital Video Recording and DVR Scheduler, we're definitely getting our money's worth. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
