Credit crunching date activities |

Everyone's belts are a little bit tighter as a result of the credit crunch, meaning spending is down. What does this mean for dating though? If you're looking for ‘the one' and are a member of many online dating websites, you perhaps can't afford to go out on as many dates as you'd like. Restaurants can be expensive, a night out clubbing can run into hundreds of pounds (once you factor in taxis as well) and even cinemas aren't that cheap any more.
Here are some cheaper dating options to help you beat the credit crunch:
One option for a cheaper yet romantic date is to go on a picnic. You can prepare the food yourself or even together and enjoy what's left of the British summer. You could even make it a trip to the beach if the weather is really good, and dates at the seaside give more subjects for conversation.
A classic American date would be a trip to the bowling alley. This allows you and your date to enjoy yourselves without the pressure of too much conversation. It also throws in a little competition, which is always fun.
An idea for one of your dates further down the line (not on the first date perhaps) is to spend the night in with a movie. Staying in is the new going out, as the saying goes, and this would allow you and your date to get to know each other better. You could even cook, and show your date what a dab hand you are in the kitchen. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
