A Small Number Of The Greatest Movies From Every Variety |

Everybody seems to have a specified favorite when it comes to movie genres. A few like horror movies, a few enjoy action movies, some prefer dramas or chick flicks and lots of of us like high-quality documentaries. But even though we have favorites there are always movies from the other genres that we end up loving too. The truth is that magnificent movies come from all of the diverse genres. Movies are intended to amuse us and that they do. It seems that every movie is cherished by someone and of course, some movies are appreciated by many. All of the lists of the greatest movies are clouded by the attitude of the list maker. Most lists do incorporate the blockbuster hits but no list is ever complete because there will always be a movie that someone loved that is left off the list. You just cannot list every person's favorites. Dramas are pretty in style with most individuals. Some of the best drama's from the past 20 years or so would consist of "Slumdog Millionaire" from 2008, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" from 2004 from very recent, and "Schindler's List" from 1993, "American Beauty" from 1999, "The Shawshank Redemption" and "Forrest Gump" both from 1994, and of course, several others that there is no space to cite. Horror movies are enjoyable if you love to be fearful and nearly everyone of us do at times. Some classics that must be seen are "The Exorcist", "Silence of the Lambs" and "The Shining". Some more contemporary chilling flicks are "30 days of Night" and "The Saw' franchise movies. You can't neglect the "Friday the 13th" and "Halloween" movies. Stephen King has always scared the bejesus out of us so anything from him is more often than not really excellent. The comedy movies are apt to entertain each person. Who doesn't love to laugh? One movie that may only be appropriate for adults but will make you really, really laugh is "The 40 year old Virgin". A couple of actors are really good at bringing us funny movies. Whatever thing by Adam Sandler or Jim Carrey is usually pretty amusing. And the actor graduates from Saturday Night Live all make hilarious movies. Check out Will Farrell in "Semi-Pro" or "Blades of Glory" or anything for that matter or Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in "Baby Mama" from 2008. Chick flicks are the movies that touch your mind that you want to see over and over again. If you like Reese Witherspoon make sure that you see "Sweet Home Alabama" or "Just Like Heaven". There are the older standbys that people still adore like "Sleepless in Seattle" or "Fools Rush In". A chick flick that was great from 2008 was "What happens in Vegas" with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. Everybody enjoys a great chick flick. No matter your preferred genre of movie, there are millions out there to choose from.
