Swapping lives with another individual may be next to impossible but many a comical movie has been made with this amusing storyline. Here are some recommendations for just a few that you may love. The lesson of the storyline always seems to be consideration and understanding for the other person and that can be a good thing. From 1987 and featuring Dudley Moore, Kirk Cameron, "Like Father, Like Son". A cardiovascular surgeon by accident sprinkles an old Indian potion into his Bloody Mary and presto, he and his laid-back son have switched identities. Cast includes Dudley Moore, Kirk Cameron, Margaret Colin, Catherine Hicks, Patrick O'Neal, and Sean Astin. The father is a cardiovascular surgeon who happens to be so absorbed in his own work that he pays no thought to the difficulties the son is having with school and social activities. The trading places with each other leads to bizarrely hilarious difficulties at work and at school but each gets insight into the others life. And an additional comparable film from 2003, "Freaky Friday" involves a mom and her 15-year old daughter. The daughter can't comprehend why her mother doesn't support her musical goals and the mom can't understand why the daughter is not more supportive to her approaching nuptials. A Chinese restaurant and a magical fortune cookie on Thursday evening bring about a Friday to remember. But the wedding ceremony is on Saturday. Will they be traded back in time? Starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan and Mark Harmon. And next a motion picture about a person pretending to have a different identity, "Mrs. Doubtfire" is about a free spirited husband and father who gets a separation from his wife after fourteen years. He cannot abide the thought of being away from his children so he dresses up as a British nanny and his ex-wife employs him. Sally Fields is the ex-wife, with Pierce Brosnan as her new boyfriend. Robin Williams plays the dad and Mrs. Doubtfire with Lisa Jakob, Matthew Lawrence and Mara Wilson as the children. "Mrs. Doubtfire" is a film that everybody can enjoy from the year 1993. And there you have three films that are based upon the irrational but entertaining premise of mistaken identities. Enjoy. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
