<a href="http://www.carmen-electra-pics.info/">Carmen Electra</a> was born as Tara Leigh Patrick born on April 20, 1972 in Sharonville, Ohio, USA, a suburb of Cincinnati, to Patricia, a vocalist, and Harry Patrick, an entertainer and guitarist. The actress attended Princeton High School in Sharonville.

Carmen before entering the acting world tried her luck in singing and came out with her first album for Prince's Paisley Park label. The album came out to be a dud and failed miserably. Incidentally, it was Prince who gave Carmen her present name changing it from Tara.

Not a one to lose hope, Carmen Electra soon tried her hands at acting by making several appearances in television programs. But it was her nude pictorial with Playboy in 1996 that instantly shot her to fame landing her a role in the lifeguard TV series, Baywatch (cast member from 1997-1998) and MTV's Singled Out ( where she replaced Jenny McCarthy as the co-host). She returned to Baywatch for the 2003 reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.

Her long list of movies include Good Burger (1997), The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human (1999), the horror spoof Scary Movie (2000) and also appeared in Scary Movie 4 (2006), Epic Movie(2007), "Date Movie" (2007), the remake of the 1970s TV show Starsky & Hutch (2004) and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. In fact she even won an MTV Movie Award (best kiss) for Starsky & Hutch. The critics, however, so far have remained aloof to her work done by panning it.

And this is not all, Carmen Electra spiced up her image more by some television and music video appearances like in Bloodhound Gang's music video of "The Inevitable Return of the Great White Dope" (1999), The Osbournes, The Anna Nicole Show, and, most notably, Newlyweds, Elektra and husband-to-be Dave Navarro agreed to let an MTV camera crew record their lives for the reality show Till Death Do Us Part.

Carmen Electra is also responsible for starting the Naked Women's Wrestling League in 2005 acting as a commissioner for the professional wrestling promotion. Her association with Playboy magazine grew more strong with some more appearances by Carmen over the years and no she is going to pose nude again for the magazine's 55th anniversary January 2008 issue.

The lady is also associated with brands like taco bell and Ritz Camera Centers. Her future project revolves her being confirmed as a contestant on NBC's Celebrity version of The Apprentice.
