<a href="http://www.parishiltonpics.org/">Paris Hilton</a> was born on February 17, 1981 in New York to parents Rick Hilton and Kathy Richards. The eldest amongst her 3 other siblings, Paris is also the great granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton hotels and source of estimated $300 million family fortune.

She completed her education by attending a variety of schools starting from Marywood-Palm Valley School in Rancho Mirage, California, then Dwight School in New York for her sophomore and junior years and then to Canterbury School, a boarding school in Connecticut for few months. Eventually she dropped out from there and took a GED.

Paris Hilton was in the lime light since her childhood days only. She wanted her own identity away from her surname. So the girl decided to make a foray into showbiz and took up modeling at the age of 19 when she joined Donald Trump's modeling agency. Some of her assignments included Ford Models, Premier Model Management, Iceberg Vodka, GUESS, Tommy Hilfiger and Christian Dior. She has also walked the ramp for designers like Marc Bouwer and Catherine Malandrino.

The socialite is famous for her notorious attention seeking ways. In fact Paris Hilton behaved quite shoddily at party dos with younger sister Nicky to grab the lime light. It was only natural that she headed towards television and movies. Some of her projects were Zoolander (2001), Wonderland (2003), The Cat in the Hat (2003) and guest-star roles on TV shows such as "The O.C."(2003) and "George Lopez" (2002).

The actress also won MTV Movie Award for Best Scream in her substantial role in the Paige Edwards in horror flick House of Wax (2005) Paige Edwards in horror flick House of Wax (2005). Paris's latest release in 2008 is Tom Putnam directed romantic comedy film The Hottie And The Nottie.

Her future projects include her own TV reality show where she will look for a new best friend, 10 episode long series titled Paris Hilton's My New BFF. Paris Hilton also ventured into singing with her debut album titled "Paris" released on August 22, 2006. Besides this she has also published a book in 2004 co written by Merle Ginsberg, Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose which is an autobiography of Paris Hilton.
