Hard rockers won't want to miss this year's momentous event in Frisco, Texas at Pizza Hut Park - OZZFest. Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne host this year's culmination of years of tradition on August 9th, with the aid of dozens of other bands. This historic day represents Ozzy Osbourne's last appearance until 2009 and one of Metallica's few shows in the US this year. From its inception, OZZFest has been a trailblazer in heavy metal and hard rock music, with pioneer Ozzy Osbourne at the helm. Now, a lucky 13 years later, OZZFest boasts a diverse guest list, giving rise to the most dynamic and celebrated festival in rock. Main stage acts include Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Hellyeah, Jonathan Davis (Korn), Cavalera Conspiracy, Shadows Fall, Apocalyptica, and In This Moment. Sevendust, Devildriver, Kingdom of Sorrow, Soilent Green, Witchcraft, and Goatwhore are included in the second stage acts. The third stage, dubbed by Sharon Osbourne as a testament to the gifted metal bands that originated from Texas, includes The Sword, Drowning Pool, and Rigor Mortis. Rock fans don't have to worry about accommodations; the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center is only ten minutes and just over five miles away from the OZZFest venue. Hard rockers live the superstar life at this Marriott that features a complimentary shuttle within a 3-mile radius and 25 restaurants just steps away. Spacious rooms, plush feather bedding, high-speed internet access, an outdoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, and fitness center are available to all guests.
