Another example is that of the breaking story of the King of Pop's untimely death. TMZ (Thirty Mile Zone), broke the news to the world practically as the resuscitation drama at the hospital unfolded. In fact, that put them at the top of the heap as far as reporting latest celebrity gossip news was concerned. Even to this day, TMZ has a whole thread dedicated to MJ and all the news and gossip that still seems to dog him including the stun gun case that involved MJ's kids along with Jermaine's sons Jaafar and Jermajesty. Of course all these magazines, tabloids and websites have to be extra careful as they run the risk of law suits every single day. Some of them stick with facts received from reliable sources. However there are others that deal in latest celebrity news and gossip that don't stop there but go several steps ahead to report rumors, conjecture and anything else they think might be of interest to their readers. Naturally, they expect to pay the price once in a while. That's exactly what happened to News of the World, a British tabloid recently, when Brangelina decided to sue it for false reports stating they were splitting.
