Movies that appeal to everyone in the family unit are not as easily found as some others. Movies with a G rating are slightly rarely found as even most of the cartoon movies have a PG rating. PG stands for "parental guidance", maybe that means that films are more fun when each one watches as a family. One terrific children's movie that has withstood the test of time is "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". This movie is really the 10th best-selling motion picture of all time for all genres. It was also Walt Disney's initial feature length animated motion picture. It was first released in 1937 and over the preceding 6 decades it has been reissued eight times. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is ageless. One of the most accepted series of children's movies has been the "Shrek" series. We have all enjoyed the tricks of the "greatest fairy tale never told", where the ogre is the hero and the charming prince is not the charming one. An famous cast, including Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy has kept us laughing. So far we have seen "Shrek" in 2001, "Shrek 2" in 2004, "Shrek the Third" in 2007. There are extra movies happening including "Shrek Forever After" in 2010 and a anticipated "Shrek 5" for the year 2013. DreamWorks, the film studio that brought us "Shrek" has said that the as of yet unnamed "Shrek 5" will be the final in the series. There are 10 impressive children's films that have been made by Pixar Animation Studios. "Finding Nemo" in 2003 was the most successful to date. Other marvelous additions from Pixar include the newest "Up", "The Incredibles", "Cars" and six others. If you want a children's film without the animation there are a few great ones to check out. "Charlotte's Web" the picture, came out in 2006. The movie was very true to the much beloved children's book of the same title by the novelist, E.B. White. Both the book and the motion picture should be on every family's shelf. Another illustrious family movie is on the best-selling films list of all times and all genres. "E.T., The Extra-Terrestrial" is from the year 1982. It is a sci-fi escapade that captures the mind of childhood, a true classic for your family unit library. Enjoying films as a family is reasonably priced and amusing and now that you can download the motion picture that you want right online you can take pleasure in these great films and more even more regularly.
