But these can go completely wrong unless you make the choice properly. Understand what you need to know! However, this does not mean that you cannot gift books that are otherwise personal. It is just that you do need to be aware of the persons interests and likes. In fact, you should generally avoid personal gift books for those whom you do not know too well. Imagine giving cookbooks to someone as gift books who does not like cooking up a meal. Or think of the horror on the face if you gift books on World War II for someone who is spiritual in nature and wants to avoid all thoughts of terror and hatred. The art of choosing gift books lies in understanding the interests of the person you are gifting to. And then there are some kinds of books that are quite acceptable to be given to all. Now who would not like a Calvin and Hobbes book collection? But Dilbert gift books may appeal to only those who have experienced the corporate world and the dynamics of the place.
