Being a kid's magician is different from close up magic or sleight of hand - it is closer to the stage magic with visual illusions that hold the audience’s attention. When planning to be your kid’s magician it is important to keep in mind that kids have an attention span, thus you have to keep them laughing by using visual props (like magic wands, colorful tricks and so on), funny jokes and audience participation. Magic illusions must be varied, exciting and entertaining for all children.
Tricks that you choose for magic a show are vital; you must pick tricks for kids that are appropriate for their gender and age. Before you perform any kids magician show watch a children television show and observe how presenters act. They laugh, smile and appear to be having fun themselves; it is a very significant part of being very successful! Try to remember some of the character's names; you can rename your pet for example.

Improve your options of repeat performances by awarding the children with prizes. A skillfully made balloon model is good but when it pops you are forgotten. If you can afford a few promotional products with your contact details to offer the kids along with balloon then parents will have one way to call you for their kid’s next party.
