Puppies and dogs are natural den animals and they crave a small place of their own. Also, puppies will rarely dirty their own place so a crate will help to teach your puppy how to control himself.

Make sure that you engage in a consistent command and take him to the same place every outing so that there is no confusion on his part. Making the experience a positive one for him will also help him to learn faster and you will be finished with your puppy house training sooner.
