The cost of advertising is more expensive than ever. Many businesses can't afford its high costs, but an inexpensive form of advertising has come to the rescue, it is the human billboard. There is no better way to advertise a local business than having a person walking near it with a sandwich sign. In some cases it will double the volume of a local store that is advertising a sale. Diners and supermarkets have reported increases in their sales by having a person with a sandwich sign standing nearby. The costs of this type of advertising is minimal. You can have a human billboard outside your business for less than fifty bucks a day. The added beauty of it is you don't have to list him or her as an employee, they are independent contractors. If you are not completely satisfied with the results, you can discontinue their service.

Seniors that need some extra money have a hard time getting anybody to hire them. Employers prefer younger people who will remain with the company for many years. But there is one job that a senior can do as well as a young person and that is to carry a sandwich sign. The pay is not a lot but the job is a steady one. Many businesses are finding out that it is a great and inexpensive way of drawing customers. One company manufactures a large light board that fits on your back. They will also supply the advertising banners that you need. The whole setup is around two hundred bucks.

Not only seniors can get into the human billboard advertising business, it is open to people of all ages. It is more than a job, it can turn into a business opportunity. Other business owners will want to get into advertising their products once they see that it is successful. A person with imagination can do the hiring and setting up of other human billboards, and turn it into a successful small business.

If you are trying to make money, speak with some of the owners of businesses in your town and tell them that you are willing to become a human billboard. Tell them that you would be willing to supply the equipment and banners. Once the owner agrees, he is sure to see an increase in sales. You will then have lots of work which might lead to being your own boss and having your own advertising agency.
