Advertising has become a necessary evil for every company that survives in the contemporary business scenario. Be it the giant multi national corporations, or the small mom and pop businesses, each one needs to undertake some sort of advertising to stay in the league. There are various options that are available to an organisation as far as advertising is concerned. One could go by the conventional mediums such as television, radio, newspaper, magazine, outdoors media and the like. Or if you are looking for an alternative innovative medium to advertise your brand then you could even go in for promotional umbrellas. Both, promotional umbrellas and conventional advertisement have their own set of advantages as well as disadvantages, but because of certain reasons these umbrellas tend to outweigh the convention category. Conventional mediums have been advertising countless products and services for a long time now. And, they even have been successful in quite a number of cases. But more than often ads showcased through the conventional media, fails to stir the decision making process of the consumer. Just think for a while, would you as a consumer buy a particular product just because the hot babe in the television commercial clad in a swimsuit told you to do so? No, certainly not. This is where umbrellas gain an edge over the conventional medium. Advertising your brand through umbrellas create the desired impact on the audience as a result of their utility. The usefulness of these promotional umbrellas goes a long way in telling the recipient that he is sought after and cared for. Such feelings of care and concern influence the decision making process of the buyer to a great extent, thereby making your advertising successful. Another criterion where umbrellas outdo conventional advertising is the tenure. The traditional advertising medium is always demarcated by a short life span. Be it the television commercial that keeps the brand in the spotlight for a matter of few seconds or the newspaper ad that goes to dump once its read and done with, none of them is as long lasting as umbrellas. Being an item that is usually backed by a long life, umbrellas ensure that they keep you in public scrutiny for a long time ahead. Once you have invested in these wonderful umbrellas, you have every reason to sit back and relax which is obviously not the case with conventional advertising. Here, you have to replenish them with your precious financial resources. This seems to be a fair comparison of the two most popular forms of advertising. Considering all this, umbrellas definitely seem to have an edge over conventional advertisement. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
