Promotional pens are one of the most effective types of promotional product based advertising you can find. It might be small and simple, but a pen is one of those things that someone will always need, will always have one on hand, and hopefully the one they carry around is the one with your logo on it. Often it is the most simple of things that work best for getting a message across, whether overt, like your logo and contact information, or subtle, like undertones of dependability with a great promo pen. It's amazing that something as little as a pen can really convey that much of a message just by being itself, but what's even more amazing is the return on investment that promotional pens often show. You can impress your typical customer, potential customers, clients, and even high powered officers from other companies with the simple little pen. Now that you've gotten a taste of the power that a promotional pen can give you, it is about time to get into how to market with a promotional pen. It's a simple fact of life that, even as there is an attempt among many workplaces to move to a paperless environment, there will always be paper. For some people, it is easier to remember their appointments by writing them down on a calendar, and for others they just like to jot down random notes and to do lists during the course of the day. You'll never wean them off of their pen and paper, so don't even try - just make sure that they see your logo every time they go to jot down something. Getting promotional pens distributed to your office is the first step in the process. You will want to outfit all of your employees with your branded pen first, to start the distribution process. Some will keep them at work, while others will take them home where they will move on to further and further places. If you have a lobby type area, make sure to get all paperwork filled out with your pens. Most of the time, people will slip a pen inside of their purse or pocket, which gets you into their house and in use indirectly. The normal places for promotional gift giveaways work very well too, such as trade shows, conventions, and job fairs. All of those places need promotional pens, and chances are most people don't bring their pens around with them. Give them what they need to seal the deal, land a job, or just have a good time at the event. You can always carry around a pocketful of promotional pens to you wherever you go. This versatility and usefulness really puts the pen leaps and bounds above most other promotional items. There will never be a bad time to hand out a promotional pen, and your generosity will go a long way towards giving the public a positive brand awareness of your company.
