When in sales you have to be able to make an impression on people. You can do that by giving away things to people that you want to have as customers. It is a great way to keep yourself and your product in peoples minds. This is a good way to have people remember who you are from the first time that you are in front of them to the next. If you visit a place and are hoping to get some orders on your next visit, it won't work out so well if they have no recollection of you from before. A small inexpensive promotional item will keep you fresh in mind. The initial visit to any new prospect can be tough. It will help matters if you have a few goodies to give to people at this point. The most important people for you to leave with some promotional items so that they can remember you will be those that you will be depending on for orders later. These come in a huge variety of colors so that you can find one that goes well with your logo. You can give people pens too because everyone needs pens. Staplers are another simple item that are always disappearing from desk tops and people love to get these. It is also smart to use products that relate to your business when you can. For instance if you sell computer related services then you will want people to be reminded of your business while they are using their computers. A mouse mat will work great for this, as well as promotional USB drives. If most of your sales come from people that work in offices you can even give them pretty promo coffee mugs.
