Giving to the community that you are in is a good business move. It is a great way to get exposure and it also is a great way to do something good for those people that are near to your business. You need to get all the good attention that you can and this is a smart positive way of making it happen. It is a simple way to improve the perception that people have of your business. It is smart to give back to the community by giving actual things. You can find a great many things to do this with. There are probably several schools that are near your company and they will always welcome help in the form of supplies. If you want to donate items to an event it will make them happy because that way they will have more goodies for the kids to take home. At fairs and festivals you can just give them things to hand out or you can have your own table set up to give things out. If you do decide to set up a table and give away items it will give you the ability to actually talk to parents and give them some info about what you sell or what services you provide. Although this will put you in direct contact with possible customers it will obviously also require for you, or your employees to actually attend these events. If spending all this time with people is not what you had in mind then just providing the items might workout better for you. There are many different things that kids need and will appreciate. Anything to write with will be very helpful. Pens pencils and sticky notes are always needed by student of various ages. There are many choices of colors that you can use for these. You might want to make all of the products in the school colors so that they look like they go with the school. You want to put your logo on everything too. There is more to school life than things to write with and on though. Many kids will bring their lunch from home and need something to carry it in. There are great small coolers that will work nicely for this. These can be made with some sun sunny designs that will bring cheer to anyone who sees it. For the sports teams in school they need to have duffel bags to carry their stuff in. These can be made with your company logo on the side and the school colors as well for impact.
