Anytime that you want you can have a celebration for your business. It can be an open house or a re-grand opening or whatever you want to call it. This is not something that is specifically for a brand new business. Don't get the idea that because you have been in operation for a long time that you can't still celebrate the fact that you are open. You can think of many different reasons to have this type of party. If you are adding some new product or maybe if you have done some refurbishing, you can have something fun in your business to attract people. The main idea behind an open house is to generate interest in your business and attract people into and through your doors. It doesn't even have to be called an open house. What you can do is think of something that is different and not what people are used to seeing from your store. This can really be simple for a cafe or restaurant. You have the space that can be used as a showcase and that will make things more interesting. A cafe, restaurant, or coffee shop is a great place to have what would be the equivalent to monthly open houses. You could have new art by local people that goes up on the walls with a small party on a regular monthly basis. If you do this regularly then you will build up a list of people that you can invite each month with postcards depicting the new work. And the word will spread that this is going on so that more people will find out about it. You will want to have some promotional items for people to purchase at these events so that they will remember to return to your business. It just makes sense to have items foe sale that bear your logo. You will make some cash from the selling of this item and you will also get the residual benefit from the exposure that will come from people wearing your hats or t-shirts. People will be happy to support your business through buying your products if you have a nice business that they like and a nice design on the things that you sell. It makes a big difference if the product looks good, so think about that when you are deciding how it should be made. When you are looking for the right products to use it can be done easily online. There are tons of different things to choose from and you will get a lot of ideas just by going over one of these websites and seeing all the options that they have. You will want to pick a product that makes some sense with your company. For instance, a coffee mug goes well with a coffee shop. Of course t-shirts can work for anything.
