You can use many different promotional products to get some decent advertising and exposure for your business. There are many different things that you can use for this although the best choices do depend on your business and how you want it represented. The items that you choose should also depend on what exactly these things will be used for. If you need something for a group of visiting high school kids, it would be different than what you would use for a group of clients that you want to remember your company. Donations are a time honored tradition for companies to both do good works and to get some decent exposure. When a company gives in this way they get plenty of good press for doing a good thing. If they give away needed items with their logo and business info imprinted on them then they will get even extra advertising with that. There are many places that would be thrilled to get stuff for the people they help. A homeless shelter could give logo duffel bags stuffed with a promotional hat, shirt, a towel, and some dry good for their residents. Sometimes it is a really good idea to give a nice promotional item to people that have made large purchases from you. If you put a lovely pool into someone's back yard you will want all the people that visit the house to know that it was your company that did this. You can't put a big signature on the pool, but you can give them some nice items that will be used poolside. Big bright and colorful beach towels will get used a lot and will advertise very well for your company. You could even give them some big fun float toys for the pool that has your logo. Many companies have discovered all the great connections they can make and the new business they can drum up with trade shows. You will need a nice bunch of promotional items to take with you when you do one of these. If you meet up with a bunch of potential customers and clients at the event you will want to have something for them to remember you by after it is all over. That is why you will bring promotional pens and pads of paper, conference bags, and other giveaways. Sometimes a business will give things to school children for a yearly carnival or celebration. This is a great way to get good press. For an occasion such as this it is important that you use items that the kids will need for school. Pencils are great for this as well as pens. They also need other items that are typically used in an office, like sticky notes and rulers. If you want to spend a little more you can give them laptop bags and small coolers for lunchboxes.
