In Utah, new businesses are thriving. It seems that every day a new business springs up and surprises all of us. But the draw back to so many new businesses coming to light is that many businesses are forgotten if they don't have amazing marketing techniques. If you are thinking of starting your own Utah business, consider these ways of marketing so that you will continually have customers. Business Cards: This is a simple and effective one. If you go to trade shows or just run into potential customers/clients, they will have something to remember you by. Depending on your business, you can drop a couple dozen at relevant places (mall, diners, bank). Billboards: These are effective because people generally drive by them every day. Your business will be retained in their memory. If they ever need your services, your business will pop into their mind. Newspaper Ads: Of course, another great medium for advertising. One great tip for your newspaper or magazine ad is to have a picture included of yourself and your employees. This will give your business a personal feel— something that people can relate to. If you don't have a photographer already picked out, an internet search will bring up some of the best Utah business photographers. Local TV Commercials: Ok. With this one, try to make the commercial entertaining and not too cheesy. There are so many horrible local commercials that one that is even an inkling better, will be remembered. Internet Marketing: This one is huge! Now-a-days, the majority uses the internet to find virtually everything. If you have a strong presence on the web, you will have more business and therefore, bigger profits. Radio Ads: The same goes with radio as with TV. Don't make it corny. Be creative. These are just a few ways to advertise in Utah. There are many more, of course. Whichever medium you choose to use, make sure it is unique, creative, fresh, and advertises your business perfectly.
