There are some really adorable new cafes and boutiques that have been popping up in the last few years. People love these little places a whole lot more than the giant companies that have been closing their places here and there due to the economy. It is nice to have choices and many people prefer going to a place that has a face and that will recognize them when they walk through the door. You will see that these tiny niche businesses do gain a good following. Enough to keep them busy. You have to wonder if people have become so loyal because they have already seen so many businesses close in the last few years because of the economy. One of the simplest things that small places like this can market themselves locally is through the use of promotional products. It puts their name out right close to home and that is what they need. For the eateries they have the space to have unique small scale events. Poetry slams and fine art openings give them a nice following and a good connection to the community. It is a great draw to get new people into the place and is a wonderful way to be supportive of the local arts too. When you have people coming into your business for these types of activity it is smart to have something for them to buy that gives them a chance to be supportive of you. This is one spot for promotional products in the business. Of the products available it is good to have a variety. A travel mug that is insulated with a handy lid is a smart idea for anyplace that has people coming in all day for coffee. These can be brightly colored, shiny metal mugs that would make any logo look good. Some of them are stainless steel and are really nice. People would bring their mugs for their daily jolt and be happy about the discount that having a company mug would give them. Any place that has coffee drinkers as a major part of their business could have promotional mugs for use by patrons that are eating in. It looks good. Other nice products to use for bringing in more revenue would be things that will get looked at more by people. If you have one of the local artisans design a nice t-shirt, you can then order and sell these to loyal patrons. It will get attention from people who see these while they are being worn.
