Flyer printing is a great advertising tool that can be used even by a small business with a meager budget. While having relatively low cost, flyers can market, promote and sell a product or service to a wide audience. However, you still have to come up with a good flyer design for it to be effective. Here are some tips. Tip Number 1: Honesty is always the best policy When deciding what eye catching offers or text to put in your flyers, you should always remember to never ever promise anything that you do not intend or cannot fulfill. Every customer that reads your flyer will be expecting that the offers and promises that are printed on it are true. Any deception or trickery will only spell trouble for you and your company. It takes only one dissatisfied customer to spoil a company image - no matter how good it may be. Tip Number 2: Color your flyers While black and white flyers have its uses, full color flyers are generally much more effective. Colors add life to your images and command your viewers' attention. However, make sure that you don't overdo it with the palette. Only use colors that complement each other like orange, red and yellow. Also, choose the colors that fit your company image and the service or product that you offer. If you want, you may opt to use pantone colors to have a distinct color that represents you. The Pantone system also allows you to make use of other "specialized" colors such as metallics and fluorescents Tip Number 3: Use photos It is always a good idea to use a photograph in your flyer and use it as your focal point in grabbing the attention of your audience. This way, people can easily relate to the message that you want to deliver. Put it near the center of the flyer and arrange the text and everything else in a way that it directs your viewer's eyes to that image. Tip Number 4: Always keep it simple One of the most common mistakes of beginner to novice designers is to go over the top with the design of the flyer. Their mentality is to generate sales by attracting customers' attention with louder and bolder designs. However, you should keep in mind that there is also a possibility that your customers maybe overwhelmed by your visuals and ignore it completely. It is usually better to have a simple but well drawn design that your customers can easily grasp and relate to. Tip Number 5: Go to a high quality commercial printer that has a proven track record In wanting to save on printing cost, small businesses usually go to substandard printers for their flyer printing materials. This usually is the wrong move to make considering the drop in quality of your prints. The quality of your flyers reflects your company image. So ask yourself, do you really want a blurred flier with dull colors represent your company? Try to stick to these tips and you are on your way in making quality flyer designs. No matter how small they are, flyer printing provides you with great help in your marketing needs. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
