The value of every printed material is highly appreciated. This is because the paper distributed serves as a mirror of the company you are representing. For, the beautiful designs, crisp texts and well printed material serve as the foundation of making an impressive name in the market. And every success of a well printed material lies on how capable your printing machines are.

One of the most exclusively designed printing machines widely used at present are the offset press. The offset press had stood the test of time in terms of producing quality paper prints.

Now defining the term, "offset printing" simply refers to a sophisticated printing machine designed to produce fine quality reproductions. Commonly this is widely used in print shops. Although it is said that the process is standard yet the end product still carries the quality that it must posses. Mainly the guidance, expertise and the equipments provided by the printer also aids to deliver a print that you had visualized.

For the postcard printing jobs offset press printing is very beneficial. Now dealing with the processes and step used this is how an offset press printing works:

Offset printing is composed of three cylinders - the plate cylinder, blanket cylinder and impression cylinder.

Now, the principle behind offset underlies on a simple principle where the ink and water don't mix. The images that you want to apply to your postcards are put on plates, which then are dampened first by water, then followed by the ink.

The ink is being adhered to the image area and the water to the non-image area. From this the image is transferred to a rubber blanket and from the blanket to the paper. Being keen and observant of the printing process the offset was named after it because - the image does not go directly to the paper from the plates.

Offset printing extremely works with high speed. In such he image area of a plate lift up the ink form the ink rollers. Then the water rollers keep the ink to the non-image areas of the plate. The plate then transfers the image to the rubber blankets that in turn transfer the image to the paper. Thus worrying bout the smudges that might risk the print, an oven gas is used. This oven gas prevents or works to keep away the paper from smudging.

With the smooth printing workflow of the offset process the printing production is done fast and easy. Thus every printed material can be delivered in its designated place, time and deadlines set. After being done with the processes the products can now be delivered to the end destination.
