This executive management technique includes four chapters. This prioritizing technique divides tasks and responsibilities into four levels, simply named as A, B, C, and D. An executive like you can utilize this executive management technique by leveling the tasks according to their importance and urgency. Level A could include the tasks, which are important and urgent as well. The tasks that are important but not urgent can be included into level B. urgent tasks can belongs to C as they are not so important. Moreover, D will be the right place for unimportant and nonurgent tasks.

The beauty of this executive management technique is that as a manager, you can delegate your level C and D tasks to somebody else since you are occupied with the tasks of level A and B because of their urgency. Delegating tasks can free up a lot of your time.

If you are getting relieved, get up! This is not at all. After you have your executive time management technique, the time to apply and share all your knowledge with your subordinates too. If your subordinates will not follow your lead, your skills go to waste. Your inferiors must know that it is not important to do more tasks in a day but to accomplish more important things in a day.
