As a general rule, the more decorative and colourful the printed tee is, the simpler and more uncomplicated the other pieces in the outfit should be. For example if you have a really wild, bold graphic t-shirt, it's best not to wear this with your brightest cardigan or pair of jeans.

Men also look great in graphic tees, especially when worn under an open shirt. Some male celebrities have been seen teaming their graphic t-shirts with a short scarf. A great look, but be sure that the scarf doesn't take the focus away from the printed tee.
