The award-winning Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) team took a rare day off recently, when they headed up to Camp Hill in Yorkshire for this year's Summer Challenge. Four EMS teams - the Red Indians, Pirates, Aliens and Superheros - battled it out in costume at the outdoor adventure venue to win a series of extreme challenges throughout the day. They included climbing a 40ft giant wall; a strategy-testing river rescue exercise; construction of a crate tower and a laser shooting tournament. The day's fun ended with the EMS team having a sing-song round the campfire and singing and dancing into the small hours. EMS Managing Director Keith Austin said: "We have had an extremely busy and successful 2011, and are on course for another record-breaking year, so it's good for us to spend some downtime together. "The EMS team have proved yet again that not only do they work hard, they play hard too, and everyone gave one hundred per cent to make it a truly memorable day." Event Marketing Solutions specialise in developing and implementing customised roadshows and promotional marketing campaigns using bespoke exhibition trailers.
