What
do you market or promote to your target clients? Isn't it that what you promote
is how wonderful your product or service is? You would want your target clients
to know that you have the miracle drug that can cure any illness - or something
to that effect. Hence, your marketing collaterals such as your flyers, print
brochures and even your greeting card printing need to effectively advertise
the benefits that your offer can give.
Clearly, it's not all about your marketing campaign. And more often than not,
it's also not about your design and print in your flyers or custom greeting
cards. What gets the attention of your target clients is your excellent offer -
your product.
This is what many marketers and designers forget: they fail to understand the
importance of the product itself. How can you market your business if you have
a failed product or service? How can clients buy from you if from the very
start you don't have anything to offer that is of value to them? No matter how
breathtaking your marketing campaign in your greeting card printing for
example, your product would be the very thing or item that would keep you in
business. If you don't have anything great to offer then you have another think
coming.
So what's in your product? Can it solve a particular problem or issue? Or your
product or services just like any other item in the market that you only add to
the clutter and confusion? Is your product one-of-a-kind?
If you want to keep going and growing, you need to have a product that has the
potential to be number one in the market. How can you do that?
By having a strong and solid personality to lead your business. Every success
story in business has always been lead by industrious and strong people who
believe in what their business can offer. Oftentimes, these persons have
unwavering faith in their products that's why they can invest all their
resources in making their target clients know about their products.
And because they believe in their products, they won't settle for anything less
even in their marketing campaigns. They believe in providing excellence that's
why they only give the best to their target clients. Their customer service
even is more than what any other business can provide.
The key to success, not only in business but also life in general, is to start
believing in excellence. If you want to receive quality then you should be able
to give quality to others. Quid pro quo. What you give is what you get.
