This portable optical talk set, model 5B, features long-short communication switchover to adapt to different locations, clear sound and adjustable volume, a three-way calling function, automatic power-off function and low volume warning function. It operates over a wide wavelength range from 800 to 1700 nm and has calibrated basic wavelengths of 1310 nm and 1550 nm. This advanced device performs full duplex communication with high quality connection and offers a long transmission distance of more than 110 km. It is powered by a 9V Ni-MH rechargeable battery.
