Brochure printing is a small but integral part of a marketing campaign. You should know the important roles that your print brochures have so that you can use them effectively with your other marketing mediums.

When properly done, brochure printing has four major roles to accomplish within the framework of a typical marketing campaign. Let me explain each for your understanding.

• Take home promotions - Your brochures are the "take home" promotions of your campaign. While your TV, Internet and Radio advertisements are the general big hitters to drive more awareness, your color brochures are the ones that people can keep for information and further reference. Of course, people cannot really keep those TV, Internet and Radio advertisements right?

It will serve as a physical marketing tool that is convenient for your market. It adds a continuing presence for your marketing campaign that those other marketing tools cannot do.

• Low tech market segment solution - Of course, your marketing tools also have the role of marketing towards the low-tech market segment of your campaign. Not everyone watches TV, surfs the Internet or listens to the radio all the time. There will still be people out there that rarely go for these mass media. They will be the ones that will be able to approach this low-tech market segment. They basically can cover the marketing hole that the more high tech marketing tools cannot reach.

• Sales or application medium - Color brochures also have the alternative role of being the direct sales or application medium. Since you can adapt your brochures to have order forms or application forms on their own, you can use them for direct business transactions. You can basically promote and sell your products directly .

Moreover, if you are more of a client based or application-based industry, people can apply for a membership or service using the color brochure as the application form. Thus, your marketing tools can really become a business helper as well as a marketing tool if you want them to be.

• Public relations supplement - Finally, they are also a public relations medium supplement. Besides having booklets that describe your company and its history, your brochures can also help in adding more information to uplift your public image. Usually you can place them within your public relations kits or even attach them to press releases so that your potential clients and the press can get some extra information about you and your products. Therefore, besides selling your products, your ad can sell your company's image as well.

Therefore, those are the primary roles of brochure printing in your marketing campaign. As you can see, you cannot ignore printing brochures. They perform very vital functions that can help your campaign succeed. That is why it is good to always invest in it.
