Creativity in print ads that sell your products and images must be one of the highest priorities, among others. Brochure printing is one of the several ways you can achieve your goals in promotions.

An Overview about Brochures and Marketing

In marketing, you have to make everything right so as not to risk losing a client or even the opportunity to grab some.

1. Single sheet
This type may be bi-fold or half-fold, where both sides are printed on then it's folded in half. The tri-fold is printed the same way but folded into three parts like a letter. Other type of folds that may be used for such are the Z-fold, C-fold and the likes.

2. Brochures as Pamphlets
Some brochures are also identified as pamphlets and can be printed in multiple pages. This type can be anywhere from 8 pages at least and may contain details about the company and its advertisements. The pages of this kind may be saddle stitched or stapled on the spine.

3. Brochures as Folders
Other times, a brochure may appear to be a presentation folder which can be more impressive and larger in scale. This can be easily done if you want to print your brochures on a much thicker stock such as 14pt. and in a larger size that can reach 27 x 39 in size.

Some Tips to Make Your Brochures Effective

With so many competitions out there, your brochures need to stand out. And in order to do so, here are some tips that may help you with it.

1. Size matters. Although big sizes can accommodate more advertisements, you'd also want to consider your brochures to be handy so that people will find it easy to pocket them and browse through them when time calls for it.

2. Brochure printing should be done on a high resolution. The images should be sharp and the color accurate. In this manner, you are able to achieve the right contrast you need and the consistency between image and real life products are not too far apart.

3. The paper is also a factor. 100 lb. stock paper will give you a magazine-like quality that is more durable than the thinner ones. This will make your brochure presentable but still businesslike.

4. The design and layout is its life. So be creative on this area, be original and make sure that it will attract eyes. Study the competition and veer away from their styles so that you will not be associated with them and stand out.

5. Look at brochures from a consumer's perspective and decide on things whether they are appealing to you or not. Observe and edit images, text and details and get a concise brochure.

6. In acquiring brochure printing services, you don't really have to know the technical aspects. You can leave that part to the printing company who will do more of the worrying for you.
